MainStreet to Raffle University of Nebraska vs. Baylor Tickets  -- Drawing October 10th  

If you haven't purchased a chance to win tickets to the UNL/Baylor tickets, get yours today!  MainStreet is selling raffle tickets to win FOUR TICKETS to the UNL/Baylor game which is on Saturday, October 25th.  The tickets are located in Section 15 Row 20 in the South Stadium.  You can't beat these prices -- buy ONE chance for $1, SIX chances for $5, or FIFTEEN chances for $10!   The drawing will be held on October 10th.  See a MainStreet volunteer or call the MainStreet office to purchase your raffle tickets today!

Halloween Hysteria Coming Soon 

Get ready to get tricked and give treats during the MainStreet Halloween Hysteria event on Thursday, October 23rd.  We'll have lots of fun things for the kids and their families -- free photos at VW Photography, face painting at the Fremont Area Art Association, the Fremont National Haunted Bank, spooky hayrack rides around downtown, kids costume contest and more!   Last year, we had close to 2000 children downtown for the event, so if you're purchasing candy to give away, be sure to have plenty!  If you are a business who is not downtown, but would like to participate, contact the MainStreet office to learn how to be involved in this fun, family event! 

Tailgating Downtown Before the Midland Lutheran College Football Game  --  Date Change          

MainStreet will be hosting a Tailgate Party downtown before the November 1st Midland vs. Nebraska Wesleyan University game.  There will be music, food and fun for students, parents and the Fremont community.  We'll also be giving away free tickets to the ballgame.  If you are interested in supporting this event by offering a discount or coupon for those who attend, OR if you'd like to donate a small prize to be given away at the event please call the MainStreet office.  Let's get behind our HOME TEAM!!  More details to come. 

 

Fun Christmas Activities Coming This Holiday Season 

A few changes are in store for this year's downtown Christmas activities!  There will be no parade this year, but we have other great things in store.  The Christmas Walk will be on Friday, November 28th from 5:30 to 8pm.  Other festive activities are being planned for Saturday's during the holiday season on November 29, December 6th, December 13th and December 20th.  If you would like to host a holiday activity in your business, please contact Leslie at 721-2264.  We would like to have many events happening on Saturdays, so if you would like to promote having an open house, or have a special event going on, please let MainStreet  know so that we can help you promote it.   

 

Fremontopoly Games Only $10

Fremontopoly games are on sale now at the Chamber, Lou’s, Kollmeyer’s and Sampter’s for only $10!   If you would like to have Fremontopoly games available for sale in your business, please contact Leslie at 721.2264.  If you know of an organization looking for a great fundraiser, MainStreet is interested in partnering with other groups to share in the profits of the Fremontopoly games in exchange for assistance in selling them.  If you have not purchased your game yet, get yours today!
