 Promotions Committee: This committee focuses on marketing the downtown. It promotes the downtown's unique characteristics to shoppers, investors, new businesses and tourists. This committee helps to create a positive image of downtown through retail promotions, community events and activities that focus on driving business downtown. Retail/Image Development Committee: This committee is a sub-committee of the Promotions Committee. It's main focus is the retail sector of downtown as well as the marketing image of the downtown district. It's main events will be Crazy Days, MainStreet Punch Card Program, Construction promotional materials as well as developing an image marketing campaign for the district. Organizational Committee: The Organizational committee's goals are to attract people and money to the organization. It will accomplish this by raising money thru fundraisers and membership. It will aid in the recruitment of volunteers and encourage leadership within the organization. Design/Economic Restructuring Committee: The purpose of these two committees is to identify new market opportunities for the downtown district as well as ensure the historic preservation of the buildings in the downtown area. It will help to stimulate investment in local property as well as work to enhance the appearance of the district by offering a facade improvement grant available thru MainStreet Fremont. It will also work with city government and the D.I.D. to improve the parking lots, street signage, street lighting, sidewalks and streetscape as needed.
