MainStreet of Fremont is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening Downtown Fremont as the center of our community. We work to support downtown businesses, improve the appearance of downtown, host community events, and encourage economic vitality.

Is MainStreet of Fremont part of the City of Fremont?

No. MainStreet of Fremont is an independent nonprofit organization. While we often partner with the City of Fremont and other community organizations, we are a separate entity.

Art Contest & Exhibit

Celebrate Hispanic culture, heritage, and creativity through the Fremont Hispanic Festival Art Contest, presented in partnership with the Fremont Area Art Association.

Artists of all ages are invited to submit original artwork for consideration. Selected pieces will be displayed in a public exhibition at Gallery 92, with winners recognized during a special reception.

The Fremont Hispanic Festival is a celebration of the culture and heritage of peoples native to Spanish-speaking countries. During this festival, we are honoring and celebrating the independence days of our neighbors who have cultural roots in Latin America.

Fremont Hispanic Festival Royalty

Boys and girls ages 6 - 18 can apply to be the 2025 Fremont Hispanic Festival Little Princess/Little Prince, Princess/Prince, or Queen/King!

The 2026 Royalty were selected on May 1st. Join us at the festival to meet them! The Crowning Ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. in the park during the festival.
