Artists Needed!
2026 will be our Fourth Annual Chalk Art Festival hosted by MainStreet of Fremont! It will take place on Main Street from 3rd to 6th streets.
There will be three categories: Kids: 8 - 11, Youth: 12 - 17, Adults: 18+, and Team: All Ages. Applications available now!
This event is completely free to attend and open to the public!
2026 Chalk Art Festival Prizes
1st Place - Youth: $50
1st Place - Adult: $100
1st Place - Team: $200
People's Choice: $100
Volunteers Wanted
We are looking for volunteers for this event. The tasks range from set-up and check-in, to passing out supplies, to cleaning up. We only ask for 2 hours of your time, and it is greatly appreciated.

Should I apply to be an artist?
Short answer: yes! This event is for everyone to show off their creativity. You don't need to be a professional to have fun. This is a great opportunity for a creative kiddo wanting to try something new, or a bonding experience for your family. You could use this as a team building opportunity for your staff, or gain exposure as an artist.
